League Structure
The NPC Champions League is a competitive padel league for players of all skill levels. It follows a structured format, progressing through a league phase and knockout rounds.
The league is divided into three skill levels, each with Men’s, Ladies and Mixed divisions:
✅ Beginners League (Level 2.5 & Below)
✅ Intermediate League (Level 2.6 – 3.4)
✅ Advanced League (Level 3.5+)
There is also a 50 & Over League, with Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced divisions.
Each skill level (Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced) has its own separate league table, where teams compete for rankings.
- A set number of top teams will qualify, based on total entries.
- Additional teams will enter a playoff round, where winners advance to the knockout stage.
- The competition follows a knockout format leading to the Final.
If a team withdraws from the league, their previous match results may be voided or adjusted depending on the stage of the competition. NPC will review the case and determine the best course of action.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you
received it (in its original packaging).

Match Rules & Scoring
✅ Matches are played in a best-of-3 sets format, with a tiebreak at 6-6 in each set.
✅ The tiebreak is played to 7 points, and if the scores reach 7-7, a team must win by a difference of two points.
✅ The team that serves first in the tiebreaker is decided between the teams before the tiebreak starts.
✅ Match results must be submitted to NPC in the WhatsApp group.
✅ Both captains must confirm the score before it is recorded.
Teams will be ranked based on the following criteria:
1️⃣ Game Differential (GD) – The primary ranking factor
GD is calculated as the total number of games won minus the total number of games lost across all matches played.
🔹 Example:
- Team A wins a match 6-4, 3-6, 6-2
- Team B loses with the same score 4-6, 6-3, 2-6
👉 Team A’s GD = (6+3+6) – (4+6+2) = 15 – 12 = +3 GD
👉 Team B’s GD = (4+6+2) – (6+3+6) = 12 – 15 = -3 GD
Teams with a higher GD will rank above those with a lower GD.
2️⃣ Sets Won (SW) – Used if GD is tied
If two teams have the same GD, the team that has won more sets will rank higher.
3️⃣ Head-to-Head Record – Used if GD & SW are tied
If teams have the same GD and sets won, the result of their head-to-head match will be used.
4️⃣ NPC Playoff Match – Final Tiebreaker
If everything is still tied, teams will play an NPC-sponsored match at an agreed location and time to determine the higher-ranked team.
